Yamaha FG 355SB Acoustic guitar - vintage late 70's / early 80’s model in excellent condition.

This is a stunning guitar in superb condition for a guitar over 30 years old. Very unusual chocolate sunburst colour which has aged to a gorgeous deep shade – it really does look beautiful in the flesh. These Yamaha’s just get better and better, and the older ones were also built better. This was a really good model when new; with ivory coloured binding all round the body and all round the neck & headstock, and beautiful purfling detail, too - see the photos.

This guitar has barely been played; the frets show absolutely zero wear, even the scratch-plate shows little wear. It’s thirty-odd years old so does have dings and scratches, but absolutely none serious or worthy of note - for a vintage guitar it is in excellent condition - come see it.

It plays and sounds awesome too - as good as anything you have ever heard - I'm not joking, it really sounds brilliant. The neck is straight and action is low, there’s no fret wear and no fret buzz – all of which means that it plays brilliantly. Bring along a Taylor or Martin to play alongside it and you'll be amazed (and you'll also want back the £2k you paid for said Martin/Taylor).

Brand new Martin strings fitted today, so it sounds bright and beautiful.

Only for sale as I'm thinning out my collection - so many guitars, so little talent!!!!

Come see it and play it - you'll love it.

DELIVERY:
I live in Hampshire & work in Buckinghamshire, so can probably deliver it free between Milton Keynes and Portsmouth...all down the A34 on my commute.

POSTAGE:
I'm happy to pack it well and post it at cost price if you've got PayPal. Been asked many times how much postage will be...I think £20 should be about right, but if you can find a cheaper service I'll happily use it - remember to add insurance, though.
